Review: The Long Cosmos

The Long Cosmos The Long Cosmos by Terry Pratchett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

So.
This was the fifth and final book of the series and in a way, I would say that there were five very long chapters to one book and a rather good one. In the beginning, I found the lack of pace kind of distressing but the telling made all the difference so I trudged on and it is a fascinating story. Perhaps it is not the most complete or fulfilling story but it is a nice ride.
I did not particularly like the main character Joshua, I never got around to understand him at all really but that is beside the point. It is a story about connected worlds and what ifs and so forth just like good old science fiction. Yes, that’s it; good old-fashioned sci/fi. It made me feel young again reading Asimov and for that alone I am grateful.
Read it but read all of them – they are easy and quick so do not cheat – It will be worth it
